Learn More About the Game:
Convalescence is set in a dystopian world, a WWIII veteran, Cyrus, deals with the continuous struggles of keeping a failing business alive. Loan sharks and corrupt governments impede his objective at every turn. When things go wrong, Cyrus joins a vigilante syndicate to take revenge on the people who destroyed his livelihood and the government that allowed it to happen.

Development Details

Tech Stack
Programming
Nathan used Godot as the primary game engine along with GdScript and Python.
Art
Nathan and Taylor used Aseprite for Pixel Art implementation and Krita/traditional drawing techniques for the concept art.
Music/SFX
Dylan made all game music on FL Studio, and subsequently made all sound effects on FMOD.
Project Management
Project management was done via ClickUp and all commits to the code were made via Git and Github.
Promotionals
Promotionals were made by Peebles Productions and Dylan on Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
Marketing
Our marketing ecosystem consisted of multiple interfaces including Klaviyo, Hubspot, WordPress, Zapier, etc.
Other Stuff
We used Ink for narrative programming and Canva for logo designs and social media posts.
